When a potential investigation comes to P.P.I. through spoken word, e-mail, post or telephone, the information is to be logged with the main e-mail address (firstname.lastname@example.org).
A potential investigation can be anything that comes to Phoenix directly (phone, email, etc.) or through a representative of Phoenix.
Once the information is logged, the information will be shared amongst core investigators and appropriate action will be taken.
Phoenix Paranormal Investigations do NOT charge for their services. However, if the client wishes to make a donation, this is fine. Any donations given to an investigator, has to be declared to the group. Appropriate refunding of travel expenses can be taken out of the pot, providing we have enough money.
We will discuss a course of action with the client and obtain a signature on the course of action. This will be OUR terms of conditions for investigating their property.
Our archivist, will be asked to conduct historical information on places, IF an investigation is to go ahead. Information requests should only be exercised if an investigation goes ahead. The archivists' time is valuable and as such, a separate folder is to be dedicated to any historical information gathered on Phoenix's behalf. All work done by the archivist is the property of Phoenix Paranormal Investigations and has to be sanctioned by at least two core investigators.
Due to the litigious world we live in, it is mandatory that at least two core investigators should go to a preliminary interview. This is to ensure that investigators acting alone do not put themselves or Phoenix into a situation which could be dangerous or damaging to the group, or if the client lives by themselves.
Permission must be granted before photographs are taken and also the questionnaire must be signed at the end of the interview
If the client is female, it is mandatory that a female investigator should be present. This may be difficult at the moment, however this can be discussed in future meetings.
